Class Descriptions

Hot Yoga Stowe offers a wide variety of classes from Hot Yoga 26&2 classes where the room is heated to over 100 degrees to slow, mindful movement without heat. Keep reading for current class descriptions.

HOT Classes (95-105 degrees)

Hot 26&2

Bikram's traditional 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises in a hot/humid room. Temperature is typically between 100 and 105 degrees. This class is suitable for all levels.

  • Mondays 5:30 - 7 pm
  • Tuesday 12 - 1 pm (EXPRESS)
  • Wednesday 9 - 10:30 am
  • Thursday 5:30 - 7 pm
  • Saturday 9 - 10:30 am
  • ​Sunday 9 - 10:15 am

Hot 26&2 Fusion

Based on the firm foundation of the hot 26&2 method, this fun class offers alternative and intermediate postures. The first set of postures is the traditional 26 postures. The second set plays with moderate twists, turns, balance challenges, and inversions.

Note: This class may run long!​

Hot Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa flow is a dynamic asana practice linked to the breath. Each class flows through a series of vigorous and mellow movement, taking time to tune in to the body and breath. Be prepared for various standing, balancing, seated, and on the ground postures. Specifically tailored for the needs of the students present. 

Done in a hot/humid room between 90 and 100 degrees. All levels are welcome.

Hot Core Flow

Core Flow is a vigorous vinyasa class focused on building balance and core strength. ​The active sequence includes Sun Salutations, arm balances, standing balances, and inversions. The class works all parts of the body, not just the core!

Done is a hot/humid room between 90 and 100 degrees. Core Flow is for students with some yoga experience who want a stronger flow-style class. ​

Warm Classes (85-95 degrees)

Warm Slow Flow

Warm Slow Flow is a vinyasa-style class in which students move slowly through a series of asanas, flowing through sequences of Sun Salutations and standing/seated postures. Emphasis is place on linking breath to movement while relieving tension in the body, holding stretches, and moving mindfully.

Done in a warm room between 85 and 95 degrees. Class is tailored to the students present - ideal for beginners and anyone returning to yoga after a long absence!

No HEAT!

Dharma Flow

In this class, practitioners will move through a series of warm-ups (Surya Namaskara and Shiva Namaskara series- mostly standing poses) to prepare the mind and body for deeper poses: forward bending, back bending, inversions (alternatives offered), and spinal twists. Class finishes with a guided Deep Relaxation and meditation practice.

​This grounding, steady, and empowering class will provide students with the self-awareness and knowledge of body alignment needed for an invigorating yoga practice. It will increase your sense of focus, strength, flexibility and endurance and induce a state of calmness and peace.

Variations offered for ALL levels (beginners welcome).

Yin & Restorative

Yin is a slow-paced style of yoga, incorporating principles of traditional Chinese medicine, in which the postures are designed to be held for a minimum of three minutes. The idea is to soften and relax completely, so the release goes beyond the muscle and helps to bring balance, circulation and pliability to fascia and connective tissues.

This class is offered as a pop up and is suitable for all levels.

NEW! Pilates

Hot Yoga Stowe now offers heated Pilates classes!

Inferno Hot Pilates

Inferno Hot Pilates creates long, lean muscle mass and burns fat. And the results are super fast. This whole body workout builds a stronger core, improves circulation, and increases flexibility. To avoid the pounding impact of running and jumping, Inferno Hot Pilates is performed on a yoga mat to help protect joints and muscles from impact and injury.

Done is a heated room between 90 and 100 degrees. Class is suitable for all levels.
